Q: When can I make changes to my current health benefits?

A: Full time new hires become eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment.  You will receive an invitation email from Employee Navigator to sign up for benefits.

Open enrollment occurs once a year starting on or near October 1st and closing on or near October 31st. During this time period, you can make changes to your health plan, your health savings account, and other plan related details that will go into effect on January 1 of the following year.

One change you can make at any time is adding or removing dependents from your health plan.

Throughout the plan year, you can only make changes if you have a life change event including: Loss of coverage or change in household (i.e., marriage, birth of a child, divorce)
